Session 1:  Creating a Household Budget and Having Tough Conversations About Finances

In this session, we will focus on the steps to create a comprehensive household budget. Participants will learn practical strategies to manage finances, track expenses, and prioritize spending. We'll also discuss how to have tough conversations about finances with your family, ensuring everyone is on the same page and working towards financial stability.  

Session 2:  Developing an After-High-School Plan

This session will cover the development of an after-high-school plan for your teen. Participants will learn how to research colleges, vocational training, gap year opportunities, and career options. We will explore financial aid, scholarships, and other resources to support their choices. Practical tips and resources will be provided to ensure a smooth transition to their next steps after high school.   

Session 3:  Creating a Winning Resume

The final session will focus on crafting a compelling resume for your teen. We'll cover the essential components of a resume, how to highlight skills and experiences, and tips for making a strong impression on potential employers or college admissions. The session will conclude with a Q&A and action planning to address any remaining questions and finalize your life preparedness plan.
