Session 1: Introduction to Effective Interviewing & Preparation for the Interview
In this session, we will focus on understanding the fundamentals of effective interviewing and how to research the role and company before an interview. Participants will engage in icebreaker activities to get acquainted, explore their personal communication principles, and learn techniques for gathering relevant information, understanding company culture, and tailoring their preparation to match the job requirements.
Session 2: Mastering Non-Verbal Communication & Crafting Your Story
This session will cover the significance of body language in interviews and the art of storytelling. Participants will learn techniques to project confidence and professionalism through posture, gestures, and facial expressions. We'll also explore how to craft compelling narratives that highlight your experiences and skills, making a memorable impact on interviewers. The session will conclude with mock interviews to practice your new skills in a realistic setting.
Session 3: Handling Difficult Questions & Action Planning and Mock Interviews
In the final session, participants will prepare for challenging interview questions, discussing strategies for staying calm under pressure and responding thoughtfully to tricky inquiries. The session will also provide an opportunity to address any remaining questions and refine your action plan. Participants will submit their questions in advance, guiding our discussion to ensure all concerns are addressed. The session will conclude with another round of mock interviews to apply the skills learned throughout the course.
