Session 1
Session 1 will focus on getting to know and empowering each other and discuss what it means to build healthy immigrant identities in young children in the U.S. and Europe contexts without assimilation and losing cultural strengths.
Session 2
Session 2 will investigate early language supports and ways to help our infant and toddler to build language proficiency in two or more languages
Session 3
Session 3 will explore how we can establish positive relationships with your child’s caregiver in ages 1-3 and boundaries and expectations both parties would need to set to support the development of your young child.
Session 4
Session 4 will imagine the techniques and strategies in building intellectually strong young children in immigrant families and explore early talent development.
Session 5
Session 5 will consider the importance of building self-esteem and social confidence in immigrant children that will set them as a leader in play and friendship setting.
Session 6
Session 6 will seek to answer your unanswered questions and support you in your action plan. Participants will submit questions to help guide our conversation and work on their action planning.
